I have around 15 years of experience in Branch Banking Operations. I started my career at Standard Chartered Bank as a Universal Teller in 2007. During my stay at SCB, I have worked in different branches and roles within operations and also get promoted to the Customer Services Manager position in 2012, served as CSM till December 2015, and got an opportunity as Branch Operations Manager from NIB Bank.
I Joined NIB in December 2015 as Branch Operation Manager but NIB went into a merger with MCB in 2017 during which I got the opportunity from UBL and I switched to UBL in December 2017, where I served as Branch Operation Manager Jinnah Avenue Main Branch Islamabad for Two years. It was a great learning experience for me as I have managed one of the largest UBL Branch. After that, I got an offer from Bank Alfalah in October 2019. I joined Bank Alfalah as Branch Operation Manager of Satellite Town Branch which is a flagship branch remained there for two and half years and transferred to Mall Main Branch Rawalpindi as Branch Operation Manager. In Bank Alfalah I also officiate area RWP 1 as a backup for the Area Operation Manager since 2021.
I am currently working as Branch Operations Manager in Bank Alfalah, after joining I have been deputed at BAL Satellite Town Branch Rawalpindi (Flagship Branch) and after completing tenure of 2.5 years I have been transfered to main branch Rawalpindi. I also get the opportunity to officiate Rawalpindi-1 area as acting AOM on number of occocains in absence of AOM.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing all operational activities of the branch in line with the service quality standards of the bank.
Ensuring optimal productivity and overall service standard of the branch.
Ensuring to improve audit rating of the branch.
Manage the cash position of the branch according to the cash deposit ratio.
Ensure proper daily cross-checking of bank’s activity report; monitoring of suspense and reconciliation of accounts.
Dissemination of updated information to concerned staff regarding BAL’s policies and procedures.
Ensures to keep the team motivated, and delegate tasks as per competencies of staff.
I worked in UBL as Branch Operations Manager at Jinnah Avenue Main Branch Islamabad.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring optimal productivity and overall service standard of the branch.
All branch activities need to be handled effectively and efficiently.
Managing branch’s operations and service team – Chief Teller, Customer Service Representatives, Operations Officers, UTs, and Locker custodian.
To ensure proper checks and control are in place to avoid any potential losses.
Identifying & addressing customer needs to ensure a positive customer experience.
Leading, coaching & supervised staff to deliver excellent services and maintain optimal branch CS scorecard.
Preparation and submission of all returns and reports as and when required.
Managing the teller function in the branch to ensure delivery of quality service to customers, the projection of a professional and warm image, maintenance of Operational controls, and continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
I have started my carrier in NIB Bank as BOM and also act as a coordinator for Rawalpindi region.

Supervision of overall Operations of the Branch.
Managing branch’s operations team – Customer Services officers, Customer Service Supervisor, Customer Care Representative, and Locker custodian.
To ensure proper checks and control are in place to avoid any potential losses.
In addition to this, I also assume the responsibility of Regional Coordinator for the Rawalpindi Region. My main responsibilities were:
Preparation and submission of all reports of the region, as and when required. Like the daily dashboard, daily cash position, and month-end reports.
Ensuring timely submission of all required reports.
Coordinating with the regional branches as and when required, gathering and consolidating data as per requirement and instructions.
