Operations Supervisor
Deputed at Keamari Terminal Karachi responsible for : 1. Conducting smooth terminal operations all complying with company\'s HSEQ policies. 2. Ensuring routine inspection and maintenance of various mechanical and electrical components. 3. Participation in scheduled fire drills and all Training courses (HSEQ & Operations) conducted by the Terminal Management.
Intern Mechanical Engineer
I worked as Intern Mechanical Engineer in Mechanical Maintenance Department Port Qasim facility of the company. With the team of senior Engineers and Managers was involved in the Annual Shutdown Maintenance of various chemical plants including Sulphuric Acid, FormicAcid, Sodium Bisulphate, LABSA 96% and LABSA 90%.
Mechanical Engineering Intern
During six weeks internship at the 560 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant with 3-3-1 configuration, I understand and learn the basic concepts of power generation which includes
working of Gas Turbines (GT), Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and Steam Turbine (ST). Moreover I got familiar with the auxiliaries acting as the Balance Of Plant (BoP), future modifications and alterations for the optimal operation of the plant. During the 6-weeks internship, I also got exposure to problems arising during operation and counteractive measures taken against it.
