Job Description
Job Requirements:
- Ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of web development, website programming, web security and integration of websites with different payment systems.
- We expect that candidate has extensive knowledge of e-commerce, WordPress, WooCommerce, programming languages including HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Ajax, knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Develop website architecture and determine software requirements, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the website, create and optimize content for website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software, research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products, plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test website related code, conduct tests and perform security and quality controls, write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other web applications, develop mobile applications and conduct online marketing using social media.
- Ability to customize WordPress frontend and backend with PHP.
- Mastery of HTML/CSS/Responsive Design/jQuery.
- Familiarity with the MySQL structure of a WordPress website.
- Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to do your job.
- Ability to use MAMP, XAMPP.
- Intermediate to advanced PHP.
- Capable of building custom web apps, plugins, themes.
- Familiarity with other platforms such as Shopify, Joomla, Drupal.
- Laravel experience.
- Performance/Speed/Page speed optimization for Shopify store.
- Shopify Liquid code customization.
- Shopify cart optimization.
- Shopify checkout optimization.
- Shopify store setup from scratch.
- Shopify apps integrations.
- Product/Collection pages modifications.
- Custom coding for the Shopify store.
- Shopify website responsiveness issues.
- Fixing Shopify bugs.
- Configuring FB pixel and Google Analytics for advanced tracking.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in digital marketing in a junior or intermediate position
- Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and AfterEffects.
- Knowledge of Ui/UX, print advertising, digital advertising and email marketing.
- Experience working with WordPress, WooCommerce& Shopify.
- Adaptive design eye and skill.
- Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business.
- Strong team skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience delivering digital campaigns for mainstream products and services.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML, PHP, HTML 5, CSS an asset.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 3+ Years experience in web technologies.
- Very strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize.
