n n Receive, inspect and store all standard inventory stock and special order material and parts.
n Track a large and diverse inventory and maintain proper stock levels by devising appropriate reorder lead times and amounts to assure adequate quantities are available for the Plant facility.
n Obtain quotes and negotiate comparative prices, order parts from vendors, and work within budget constraints.
n Possess basic computer skills with the ability to use typical office programs.
n Utilize computer-based storeroom operations program and is thoroughly versed in its capabilities and limitations.
n Ensure that all inventory transactions are properly documented in accordance with standard operating procedures.
n Issues material, parts and equipment to concerned department.
n Possess thorough knowledge of all material and equipment’s in the warehouse inventory.
n Conduct complete inventories as well as weekly cycle counts.
n Possess a basic knowledge of bar coding procedures.
n Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements to standard procedures.
n Issue shared equipment maintained in the storeroom.
n Maintain the storeroom in a neat, orderly and efficient fashion.
n Confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, model number, etc.
n Utilizes inventory database to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials and associated back orders
n Inputs essential data on all materials handled; adheres to strict accounting procedures in this regard.
n Assists in conducting complete physical inventory count annually.
n Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient material storage and handling.
n Maintains records and coordinates the periodic safety inspection and testing of specialized utility equipment.
n Reconcile inventory discrepancies
n Lead Warehouse team and provide supervisory support.
n Perform related tasks as required.
