Job Timings: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Mon-Fri)
Progos Tech is looking for a full-time Jr. SQA Automation Engineer, his/her main responsibilities are:
- Review requirement specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Prepare test plans, develop test cases and execute tests with a focus on coverage, performance and automation. Create, update, maintain and execute automation suites and other testing tools as needed for use by QA. Enhance, maintain existing automation test toolsInvestigate bugs using various available tools and server logs Establish and maintain structured testing methodology, especially around automation.
- Analyze Business Requirements, design, tests and deliver quality software products in a complex environment.
- Supports the DEV/OPS processes and activities.
- Identify areas for improvement and drive change through to completion.
- Actively participate in a self-organized Scrum team where team members work together to discuss who does what.
- Create detailed manual and automation test cases. Experience in UI, API testing.
- Support Production Implementation tasks and post Production deployment validations/verifications.
- Able to work with globally located team members on a daily basis.
- Assist Development and technical support team in identifying and resolving problems.
- Generate Execution Reports and clearly communicate. status/risks/concerns to Senior Mgt.
- Should have understanding of Selenium, Selenium Web Driver, Magento, Eclipse IDE, and similar tools.
- Should be Self-starter, able to work in fast paced agile development environment.
- Have a positive approach towards work and fellow team members. Must be very good in Usability testing experience. Must have native apps testing experience.
- Identify process improvements, error trends and/or the root causes and make recommendations for remedies to colleagues and management. Actively participate in Agile development methodologies
