A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join a UK based accountancy firm’s office in Lahore. We are a small & medium size firm who is operating since 2005. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented senior accountant to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be assisting senior management in preparing and production of year end accounts for our various clients. You must have a keen attention to detail and maintain accurate bookkeeping, account balances, general ledger, and all necessary management reports. This role will also require an experienced Accountant to work with our UK Head Office on various clients.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of year end accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly & monthly management accounts pack.
- Work towards fully understanding both the accounts payable and receivables process.
- Reconciling various control accounts; Cash, Credit Card, Prepaid, Accrued Income, VAT, Wages & PAYE.
- Reconciliation of Intercompany balances & Group company accounts.
- Assuring the accuracy of bookkeeping.
- Review of bookkeeping of various clients.
- Assisting in preparation of VAT returns and their finalization
- Having sound knowledge of direct and indirect cash flow, financial reporting and planning and Internal controls.
- Should be a team player.
- Should possess strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
About you
- Graduate or above in an Accountancy and Finance related degree
- Knowledge of Sage, Xero & Other accounting software is a must.
- ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified.
