Assistant Manager - Corporate Communication

Responsibilities

• Assist PR & Corporate Communication Team with external & internal communications, strategic planning and execution.
• Create and assist in content development according to organization’s communications needs including press releases, articles, blogs, news reports, media statements, corporate messages and presentations, etc.
• Assist in managing media briefings & events (media get-togethers, meet-ups, PTCL event coverage, Iftaar dinners, etc.)
• Assist PR & Corporate Communication Team in liaison and follow-up with external PR Agency to ensure alignment and execution of all communication projects and campaigns. Follow-up with PR Agency to ensure that all deliverables must be received in time including daily and monthly reports, content, counsel and advisory.
• Internal coordination with various departments/regions on different projects, initiatives and campaigns.
• Ensure overall monitoring, evaluation and reporting for print, electronic and digital, compiling monthly activity report, daily news summary and clippings for management and liaise with agency for timely delivery of daily report.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Qualification & Skills

• MBA Marketing or Masters in Mass Communication/ International Relations
• Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
• Excellent content development and creative writing skills                 
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Knowledge of digital PR, along with traditional media
• Strong presentation skills

Experience:

• 1-3 years Telecom or FMCG experience in PR & Corporate Communication
