RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Care, Billing, Receivable system, EVO, E-payment, Settlement, Mediation Log Management, CNIC verification, OSS, Maximo, BTS, Data-INN, SMS, ADS and Eagle Eye databases monitoring/administration
- Siebel CRM database administration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning
- Implementation of high security policies for user accounts, passwords, profiles, roles and privileges across the Oracle database environment
- Regular monitoring of DR-site to keep it sync with Production site
- Regular Performance tuning of all the databases - Databases backups/recovery using RMAN
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Logical backups per end user demand
- Audit implementation on different database operations
- Database objects creation according to the standard naming conventions
- Proactive monitoring of all the databases by configuring emails alerts
- Monitoring all the Databases using oracle enterprise manager and alert logs
- Monitoring Physical/Logical Backups
- Fulfilling DBA daily activities Users creations/dropping, assigning/revoking privileges, changing privileges and roles
- Regular re-organization of billing tables in each billing cycle
- Regular Statistics gathering on all the databases
- Archival of database objects on user demand
- Compression of billing objects
- Tuning the end users SQL queries
- Shell scripting at different platforms
- Oracle Database migration between different platforms
- Oracle 11g/R2 database installation and configuration on Windows, Linux, AIX, HP UNIX and Oracle Solaris
- Oracle 11gR1&R2 ASM implementation and administration on EXADATA and AIX
- Oracle 10g/11g client installation on Windows, Linux, AIX, HP UNIX and Oracle Solaris - Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Ensure compliance with management policies and procedures applies for achieving objectives
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Qualification:
Minimum of Bachelor degree in Computer sciences
Certification:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) (Additional Benefit)
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in relevant field
