Major Responsibilities:
• Alarm monitoring and NOC trouble ticket rectification on SDH, DWDM and MPLS-TP systems.
• Provision of effective Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 support for Long haul SDH/DWDM equipment’s and NMS/EMS system.
• Manage & resolve the critical Issues/faults of Long Haul/Metro Network.
• Media Provisioning to PTCL/OLOs and corporate customers.
• Preventive Maintenance of Transport Network Elements.
• Initiate and implement contingency plans in case of optical fibre system failure and optical fibre cable cuts.
• Ensure fault localization, rectification, HW replacement and conversion to new equipment.
• Traffic analysis for continuous improvement and up gradation of network to avoid bandwidth congestion.
• Planning and implementation of contingency plan for the network diversions and traffic routing in case of emergency and disaster.
