MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Incumbent of this position is responsible for effective management of People Polices in the PTCL Group (PTCL and Ufone) as a part of the ‘Policies & Governance, Team.  

  1. Draft People Policies in the light of organization’s requirement and set parameters.
  2. Review existing policies for ensuring conformance to organization’s obligations, values, user experience and other considerations defined for this purpose.
  3. Develop clear understanding of the organizational context (HR function) and carry out necessary analysis work where required, for meaningful contribution in the process of Policy Formulation and Review.
  4. Help evolve People Policies Management Framework, covering important areas like secure archiving, communication, formulation/review of policies, templets, etc.
  5. Conduct market research on progressive market practices on management of People Policies, covering both conceptual frameworks/models and physical/IT platforms parts, and to prepare recommendation for suitable adoption.
  6. Collate all kind of Policy Documents, Guidelines, SoPs and similar instruments available in the form of manuals/compilation or as standalone documents for both the organizations (PTCL & Ufone), relating to the employees working under different employment terms.  
  7. Bring all Policy related documents to a single digital platform for effective archiving and communication, while keeping this repository updated all the times. Conversion of existing documents to digital format also to be part of that.
  8. Ensure effective stake holder management with the process owners required in such roles for attaining the desired level of value addition.
  9. Evolve Policy awareness plans for the employees to make them understand the organization’s People Policies.
  10. Help evolve Policy Audit framework and system for ensuring compliance to the People Polices in actual practices on ground, and to contribute in execution of such Audits.
  11. Support Policy & Governance team in any other assignment falling under this domain, for accomplishing the given objectives.

Qualification

MBA/MPA with majors in HR and equivalent 

Prior experience in Plolicy Mangement required

Strong writing skills and analytical ability required

Comprehension of Business, Opertional and Legal/Regulatory/Compliance perspective to Policy management desired.
