Need a Senior Accountant for an Offshore Client in USA dealing in e-commerce.
The candidate should be Karachi based and willing to join on a full-time basis.
Position involves remote working from 3 pm-11 pm. Mondays to Friday full days, Saturdays on a need basis, usually during the monthly close.
The candidate must have prior exposure of Accounting and Finance with a working knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign
Job entails the following:
Manage the Cost Accounting function including:
Maintain product costs in SAP
Assisting Product Development in Product Pricing
Monitoring product margins.
Advise management on increasing profitability
Supporting Operations to achieve cost efficiencies
Improve BI dashboards
Manage General Accounting including:
Process Vendor Payments.
Post Supplier Invoices and managing the 3-way match in SAP
Do weekly bank reconciliations
Prepare cash flow reports
Assist the controller in Monthly Closing
Any other task assigned by the Controller.
Skills/Competencies
ACCA, MBA-Finance, Full or Part Qualified
4+ years experience in accounting and finance
Working knowledge of SAP Business bydesign is highly desirable
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with Looker
Must be fluent in spoken English as the job will require communicating over phone/internet with US team members. banks and auditors
Can-do positive attitude with eagerness to learn and find solutions.
Self-starter who performs the job with energy and ownership.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle a diverse workload.
Output driven, always eager to get the job done despite obstacles and move on.
