Purpose of the Position:
Veterinary Officer will be responsible for the implementation of all livestock, fisheries, and poultry-related project activities as per the project design and plan. The veterinary officer will also be responsible to provide technical support in identifying beneficiaries and their relevant needs, compiling information of the training provided, strengthening the community’s capacities in livestock, poultry and fisheries management and liaising with the line department.
Major responsibilities
The veterinary Officer must have a strong background in animal & poultry husbandry in emergencies, designing and delivering training sessions. S/he will be responsible for the daily management and execution of QC’s livestock and poultry related interventions in district DG Khan. The candidate must have demonstrated experience working in emergency settings with a clear understanding of the context of southern Punjab. Furthermore, following are major responsibilities:
