Electrical Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

:1. Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, including power distribution, control systems, and communication systems.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and other professionals, to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.

3. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials.

4. Perform simulations and calculations to validate designs and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

5. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems and provide innovative solutions.

6. Assist in the prototyping and testing of electrical components and systems.

7. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall performance and reliability of electrical systems.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in electrical engineering and industry trends to contribute to the continuous improvement of Rapidtack`s products and services.

Requirements

1. Bachelor`s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the product development sector.

3. Proficient in electrical design software such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar.

4. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, power distribution, and control systems.

5. Experience with various communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.

6. Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller programming is a plus

.7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

9. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
