Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer

Position demands to undertake design, implementation and documentation of latest power conversion technology based product range, along with supervision of junior design engineers.

Ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for:

· Design Power Electronics Hardware Products, including and not limited to:

o Inverters

o Line Conditioners

o Switched-Mode Power Converters, including Power supply & charge controllers

· Create and maintain schematics

· Develop PCB layouts and support junior designers

· Develop and assist firmware development for power product’s control module

· Develop and perform product verification and testing with technicians

· Conduct EMC and validation testing

· Perform worst case analysis and simulations to ensure compliance to product brief

· Assist line manager in engineering activities pertaining to procurement, production, testing, quality and safety

· Assist line manager in system model development and product concept evaluation

· Manage personal design projects, ensuring on time delivery and present scheduled design reviews

· Utilize structured problem solving techniques for test failure resolution

· Prepare and assist product documentation, including data sheets, instruction manuals, Design Reviews, User Manuals, design and test documentation

· Ensure international compliance of product to different safety & technical standards, as per requirement
