- Research on national/international textile and fashion trends to devise upcoming themes with mood-board/inspirations.
- Keeping up to date and spotting fashion trends in fabric design by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using internet resources.
- Market research for fabrics, embellishments and accessories
- Competitor’s analysis for pricing, fabric, branding and promotions.
- Design process management of unstitched collections four volumes per year (Lawn, Silk, Festive, and winter).
- Design process management of pret collection for online and offline retail.
- Designing, planning and execution from concept to pack for stitched and unstitched in coordination with PPC department through tech packs.
- Obtaining feedback from sales team as per consumer behavior and sales trend.
- Responsible of all design process, sampling and deliver file for production as per timeline and requirements
- Monitoring sampling, pattern cutting, grading and garment construction for pret line
- Strong coordination with Business Manager in all process of production
