Job Description:
- Leading solar project developments and operations
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery including full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Providing engineering input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility, construction monitoring and ongoing operations for solar power systems
- Managing multi-disciplinary teams to complete projects on time and within budget
- Managing multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that projects are operating efficiently
- Reviewing and preparing technical documents including specifications, RFPs, reports, proposals, calculations and contracts
- Site visits pertaining to field operations
- Communicate with authorities having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues including NEPRA GL and Net-Metering licensing
- Technical assessment of PV products and equipment
- Other ad hoc activities as and when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or higher
- Engineering background in industrial, commercial or utility scale renewable energy projects (solar and battery energy storage system projects)
- 5 - 8 years’ of experience in a similar role preferably with solar industry
- Good knowledge of PV technology and simulation tools
- Good understanding of the key commercial aspects of PV projects
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Reliability and good organizational/project management skills
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team
