- Entertain the Cash and Panel patients.
- Prepare bills and discharge patients from ER.
- Collect & refund payment through cash, cheque, credit card, bank drafts etc and issue receipt to patients immediately.
- Deposit cash to accounts cash department prior to duty sign off on daily basis and ensure cash safety by following the departmental protocols.
- Arrange room and admit cash and panel patients.
- Review admission documents, admit patients and collect required deposit as per policy.
- Prepare patients medical bills with accuracy.
- Coordinate with senior to resolve any patient care issue that needs next level help.
- Charge the fee of prescribed investigations, consultation & other procedures of patients and to stamp the charge forms.
- Submit daily cash to Accounts.
- Submit Panel Letter / Card copies to supervisor for reconciliation of Panel.
- Fill the registration form for patients and enter Registration data.
- Prepare manual cash memo in case of system shutdown and charge in system as system restores.
- Ensure completeness and validity of documents and system data.
- Ensure that patient arrives at IPD floor timely.
- Coordinate with IPD and discharge patients in system and get final bill prepared.
