Responsibilities:
- Assist in all operational activity of procurement
- Serve as liaison with vendors (e.g. telephone service, cell service, fuel, office supplies, etc.) for the purpose of monitoring and consolidation of orders for better management of expenses
- Follow up of all purchase orders before and after the delivery date
- Manage the systems, processes and procedures governing the procurement of materials from the right suppliers, at the right price and desired quality
- Handle and addresses all queries of end users and ensures provision of medicine supplies as per the deadlines
- Analyze market and delivery system in order to asses present and future trends
- Monitor trends that impact the supply and demand of the products
- Obtain quotation from all vendors
- Take necessary actions in case of non-availability of item, price change or change of specifications
- Follow up of pending purchase order in order to meet the hospital requirement
- Drive spends rationalization and cost savings strategies
- Monitor trends that impact the supply and demand of the products
- Ensure workforce availability to support departmental activity
- Coordinate with vendors to keep up the smooth supply chain procedures
