- Arrange all supplies/equipment in a timely manner well before the deadline
- Plan the purchase activities keeping in view the sources, their location and cost effectiveness
- Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements for all capital nature items
- Negotiate prices’ and terms for assigned items
- Ensure availability of all supporting documents for audit and review purposes
- Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files, reports and price lists
- Follow-up all purchase orders before and after the delivery date
- Keep close liaison with accounts for timely payment to suppliers
- Ensure that the material being provided by the vendors are in accordance with quality and standards lay down by the hospital
- Coordinate receive, process, distribute and storage of goods
- Plan, keep, monitor and control inventory of assigned domain
- Monitor all collected shipments to ensure they are properly coded
- Conduct performance enhancement process in accordance with standards practice and collective agreements
- Responsible for requisition analysis & tracking system of requisitions
- Receive all the incoming stores of the hospital
- Prepare receive report of the accepted materials
- Prepare Reports/Vendor’s bills as per assigned area
- Conduct miscellaneous stock analysis
- Coordinate and follow-up with purchase department regarding supplies and regular feedback to end-users
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to end users
- Inspect items to ensure quality and quantity against delivery documents
- Receive incoming materials and to prepare receiving reports as per assigned area
- Replenish stock as per prescribed inventory system
- Ensure proper labeling / identification of items, bins and racks
- Monitor counting, weight and measurement of items being received / issued
