SQA Engineer

Sibisoft pvt ltd is looking for an SQA Engineer. A resource who is hardworking, excellent in communication and understand project requirements to deliver a quality product. A candidate with excellent verbal and written English skills are a must with strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with software developers, business analyst and support throughout product lifecycle to ensure product quality.
Must be a good collaborator who is detail-oriented, pro-active, and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Develop and implement test plans / test cases.
Experience working in a production support environment.
Know the process of how to handle a production incident request.
Experience in performing Functional, Regression, Smoke, UAT and performance testing.
Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis.
Candidates having experience using functional test automation tools like selenium will be preferred.
Java, JSP, JavaScript, Servlets and HTML programming experience is a plus.
Experience with testing frameworks will be plus such as Junit.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science.
1-4 years working experience in Quality Assurance.
Hands on experience with Relational DBs.
Experience with testing Java Based products.
Understanding of the entire software product lifecycle: Development, QA and release management.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good to have:

Prior experience with testing ERP, CRM applications.
Knowledge of any versioning systems.
Hands on experience with Java application server tomcat, Jboss is a definite plus.

Programming Languages: JSP, SQL, HTML5, OWL, HAML, Java, JavaScript, XHTML.

Servers/Platforms: JBOSS, Tomcat, Java, Web server.

Source Controls: Concurrent Versions system (CVS), WinCVS

Databases: MySQL

Operating systems: Windows, Linux system
