Office Admin/Accounting Data Entry Job Description

 The duties of the Admin / Accounting Data Entry position are as follow:

  1. Must be able to record financial transactions in  accounting software, such as Quicken or similar, using single entry data system
  2. Must be versatile in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  3. Responsible for entering and maintaining collection and disbursement data in Excel and accounting software
  4. Preparing monthly salaries and collection list in Excel
  5. Preparing and submitting monthly financial reports to platform directors
  6. Prepare reports on monthly basis and update management
  7. Manage all company accounting files and records, including creating of donations and disbursement receipts
  8. Trouble-shoot project’s financial problems. Identify and implement creative solutions
  9. Prepare and track company inventory files
  10. Facilitating auditors with queries and documents as required
  11. Responsible for depositing and withdrawing funds from bank, as required
  12. Perform all tasks associated with office Administration: filing, handling applicants and their issues, answering office phone, petty cash handling and reconciliation, and other necessary office functions for smooth operations
  13. Reconciling bank statements
  14. Liaison with banks to solve banking issues, as needed
  15. Manage donors’ collection receipts and produce reports when required
  16. Must be able to work with strict deadlines
