Migration Analyst to assist with moving DCF functionality to a new open environment.
All roles are described as "Migration Analyst" Experience with system migrations across to new target platforms.
The roles look more like Sys Admin & Support kind of activities than someone whose primary skills are on the dev/test side as there is little mention of active use of Cobol etc. and none of DCF & Script/VS expert level in DCF, SCRIPT/VS, C, COBOL.
Role is to analyses the codebase/system and assist with moving DCF functionality to a new open environment using specialist software tools (that we can provide).
This is may be restricted to higher level activities (strategy, planning,oversight, problem solving etc.) or could be full time.
It is mandatory to have solid strong expertise in DCF, SCRIPT/VS, C. specialist software tools (that we can provide).
Knowledge in IBM z/OS and Linux
Knowledge in IBM Document Composition Facility (DCF)
Good understanding of script languages and ability to write scripts, specific knowledge in SCRIPT/VS would be a plus
