The Team:
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled engineering lead for Market Intelligence. We strive to deliver solutions that are sector-specific, data-rich, and hyper-targeted for evolving business needs. You will be expected to participate in the design review process, write high-quality code, and work with a dedicated team of QA Analysts, and Infrastructure Teams.
The Impact:
Market Intelligence is seeking a Software Developer to create software design, development, and maintenance for data processing applications. This person would be part of a development team that manages and supports the internal & external applications that is supporting the business portfolio. This role expects a candidate to handle any data processing, big data application development. We have teams made up of people that learn how to work effectively together while working with the larger group of developers on our platform.
The Role:
As a Senior Software Developer with the Content Systems Development team, you will be responsible for developing & providing backend support across a variety of products within the Market Intelligence platform. Together, you will build scalable and robust solutions using AGILE development methodologies with a focus on high availability to end users.

Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of Java or .NET and would enjoy working in either
Experience in Spark, NiFi, Data Bricks
Experience on any cloud technology AWS/Azure
Strong knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns
Familiarity with DevOps CICD pipeline
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum model
Successful at prototyping and evaluating technologies
Strong communication skills
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git & SVN
Nice to have:
Good to have working knowledge on ML/Python
Good to have experience with Kafka/Sonic Broker messaging systems.
Basic knowledge of .NET
Working Knowledge of VSTS
