In this role you would be working closely with the Top Management in driving departmental strategy to achieve common objectives.

Your Typical day at work

Ensuring timely compliance of statutory deadlines for filing of Income tax return and Sales tax returns of all provinces of Pakistan.
Responding to notices pertaining to Sales tax and Income tax
Responding to customers / vendors queries related to Sales tax and Income tax
Responding the internal queries for Tax matters
Reconciliation of tax returns with the system ledgers
Active coordination with the Tax Lawyer and Tax Advisor

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Minimum requirement: ACCA / CA / ICMA partially qualified

Work experience:

Minimum 4-5 years’ of relevant experience.

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas

Strong knowledge of the Taxation laws in Pakistan.
Hands on experience of IRIS and Sales tax portals.
Problem solving skills
Team spirit, Planning, organizing, communication
