We are currently seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our friendly team.

Purpose of the job

Working with multiple clients, the post holder will assist with all aspects of bookkeeping in order to maintain the records of financial transactions, establishing accounting processes, posting transactions and managing the client’s accounts.

Duties will include the following:

  • Computerised bookkeeping and data entry
  • Sales and purchase ledgers
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Producing reports for management
  • Posting staff expenses
  • Providing Payroll Information to our accountants
  • Client liaison and support
  • Supplier/ subs contractors payment runs
  • Other ad-hoc and admin duties as required.
  • Skills:
  • Highly numerate
  • Strong systems skills, preferably Quick books.
  • Strong and clear communication abilities
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
  • Quick learner and problem solver
  • Previous experience in a similar role essential
  • Quick books experience would be useful as well as working independently and confidentially in this role. Microsoft office would be used regularly.
  • Working hours and salary are negotiable.

Experience:

Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)

Education:

CAT OR AAT is a must

Software experience: Quick books
