The Hybrid Mobile App Developer will be responsible for creating compelling concepts for developing product based projects, customer’s projects and offerings as well as engage user experience across varied platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Mobile Applications using React Native, Javascript and CSS3
- Define technical design for Application (future phases require Enterprise integration, working with REST services, advanced features of Google API, working with Vendor Mobile APIS, Push notifications, etc.
- Participate in JAD sessions
- Ability to project estimates, timelines, feasibility and alternative solutions
- This position is responsible for development and maintenance of Hybrid mobile applications
- The candidate must have demonstrated experience in the front-end development lifecycle, including user interface design, html development across different form-factors and devices
- Develop exceptional customer experiences using latest technologies
- The candidate will be responsible for documenting design
What you will need to succeed:
- A Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is preferred
- 5+ years of web portals, high end web apps development experience is required.
- 3+ years of developing mobile web applications/Hybrid apps across devices
- Strong understanding of iOS, Android operating platforms
- Strong experience in AngularJS and/or React Native Framework
- Excellent programming skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON specific for hybrid mobile application on various mobile platforms.
- Experience with mobile IDEs and Hybrid app development (preferably using Cordova)
- Understanding of various development methodologies, including: Traditional Waterfall and Iterative Development Methods (Unified Process and Agile)
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to triage technical issues
- Communication, negotiation and facilitation skills are required
Requirements
- 5+ years of Web Development, specifically in the areas of mobile application and web design
- Must have experience with hybrid mobile applications in jQuery, integration of Google API, leveraging existing databases and data sources
- Must have knowledge to help team uncover developing a mobile platform
- Development Skill Set: HTML5, Javascript, JQuery Mobile, jQuery, CSS3, Bootstrap, PhoneGap/Apache Cordova
- iPhone/Android/Blackberry platform deployment experience
- Ability to work in a project team setting
- Demonstrated experience in developing mobile experiences based
- Understanding of mobile technologies and platform differences
- Experience with mobile IDEs and Hybrid app development
- Experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad based team.
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to triage technical issues and drive resolution with cross functional teams.
- Communication, negotiation and facilitation skills are required
- Proven ability to interact effectively with people in all levels of the organization (cross-functional, on/shore technical teams and senior management)
- Understanding of various development methodologies, including: Traditional Waterfall and Iterative Development Methods (Unified Process and Agile)
