Graphic Designer

Social media designers must have graphic design skills and marketing skills. They use these skills to produce content that is posted online. Their objective is to increase traffic and appeal to target audiences by creating pages, posts and ad experiences that will attract consumers. They use their marketing knowledge to inform their decisions about what content is appropriate. These designers start out by producing drafts and continue working on their project until they've incorporated elements that will appeal to the target audience. They rely on their design skills to determine what elements to include and how to present information.

Their duties may also involve developing material that will be found and displayed prominently by search engines. While they may perform many tasks on computers, they may also be required to produce content that's intended to be used on smart phones or other devices.
