Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify solutions for leveraging input data to drive business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data from elastic search to drive user behavior analytics and complement the SIEM product development.
- Assists with setting up machine learning techniques for cybersecurity risk reporting and alerts integrate with Kafka Streams for current input data and participate in the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize SOC analysis operations, cybersecurity teams, and Forensic experts.
- Coordinate with development and deployment teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Familiar with programming languages such as, but not limited to R, SAS, Python, C++, SQL, Hive, Pig, and PySpark
- Ability to collect, clean, and mung data in a timely manner as part of a cross-functional team in an intelligence, or related, environment.
- Experience working with and creating data architectures.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, autoencoders, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
