Ideal Candidate is expected to:
• Teach a Cooking Class of 6 to 12 individuals twice a day • Develop recipes and design courses for each cooking class • Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals • Hire, train, and supervise assistant cooks and other food preparation workers • Supervise and coordinate activities of assistant cooks and other food preparation workers • Check freshness of food and ingredients • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality • Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies needed to ensure efficient operations • Monitor sanitation practices and ensure that kitchen safety standards are followed
