Job Responsibilities
· Work on a suite of sophisticated web applications, built with J2EE, Struts, JSP, Perl, Ext JS, Sencha Touch, Velocity, and supporting Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and IE browsers
· Work with a team of smart, capable, passionate front-end and server-side developers
· Solve hard problems with cutting-edge technology and creativity
· Constantly be learning and pushing your understanding of the technology, techniques, and tricks of software development.
Job Requirements
· Four-year Computer Science degree or equivalent
· Hands-on Java development(orequivalent C++ orC#experience)
· Strong computer science fundamentals including advanced data structures, algorithms,and multi-threading
· Architecturaldesign work
· Hands-on development and testing
· Mentoring staff, conducting code reviews, and writing technical documentation
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills
· Experience developinglarge-scaleapplications
· Familiarwith SQL, application servers, andservlets
· Experience designing and testing systems with largedata throughout and capacity needs
· Experience trouble shooting performance related issues on medium to large scale projects
· Knowledge of Tomcat or WebSphere application servers
· Experiencewith HTML, JSP,and Perl
· Knowledgeof Struts or Velocity Apache projects
· Experienceinboth Linux and Windows environments deploying Java systems
