· Build up solid information sharing and collaboration routines with local Supply Managers to facilitate effective cross-functional interactions for direct materials.
· Act as first escalation point for local business users or Master Shoppers related issues and drive resolution in line with regional and global Procurement policies.
· Coordinate and participate in the execution of the contract implementation plan.Prepare and execute training for the end users.Promote the use of global or regional contracts.
· Lead the phase out of the old contracts and procedures.
· Know the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position.
· Apply integrity in all aspects of professional conduct.
· Supervises and is accountable for all procurements, and ensures that transactions, and documentation thereof, meet all compliance requirements; and are conducted honestly.

· Reviews all purchase requests to make certain that items are purchased for a reasonable and legitimate business purpose and that purchase requests have been properly authorized.
· Manager provides purchasing plans (i.e., category management) by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends, and manages purchasing activities so that the supplier base consists of the fewest suppliers necessary to get the job done efficiently and at the least cost.
· Manager oversees the procurement portfolio in Costpoint, identifies
trends, and troubleshoots anomalies - reports and presentations must reflect a high degree of professional care.creates, edits, updates, and keeps informed about current and new policies, regulations, .
· Manager may visit suppliers, as needed, to see that they are fulfilling their contractual obligations to the company and that they are serving the company's best interest.
