Job Description:
· Design, develop and implement flow sheets for pipeline projects
· Ensure that sizing and design calculations for pipelines and rises are accurate
· Identify bottlenecks in pipeline project implementation and perform measures to troubleshoot them
· Review riser designs and routing plans to ensure optimized work processes
· Identify costs estimates of materials and labor for each pipeline project and provide input into procurement activities
· Perform work procedures such as pigging, start-up and purging
· Review laid pipelines for consistencies pertaining to stability and flow
· Develop and modify pipeline project specifications to meet changing requirements of the project
· Verify design correctness and completion of associated documents
· Create and maintain meaningful relationships with project managers and engineers to ensure project stability
· Develop and implement regulatory measures and ensure that they conform to project requirements
· Coordinate with vendors to ensure that proper material is obtained
· Maintain liaison with clients and take feedback on ongoing project
· Perform hazard analysis and take measures to minimize onsite hazards
· Perform training activities to ensure that pipeline workers are ready for each project
· Ensure an adequate standard of technical documentation and contribute in updating Company standards.
· Prepare the design basis/CTRs for the pipeline design and interface with the relative process and structures and installation.
· Assist with the selection of laying spread/methods and perform/review installation design analysis for the pipeline system.
· Ensure integrity of pipelining project and corrosion control
· Provide workers with best practices information in a bid to ensure their physical safety
· Provide specialist technical input into team project work.
· Define standards and procedures for the relative engineering area and contribute to software evaluations.
· Develop or bring forward, as appropriate, industry best practices and new technologies.
· Prepare and review project proposals, studies, and technical reports.
· Travel to sites as needed.
As our ideal candidate you will have:
· Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· At least 8-10 years of experience in oil and gas sector.
· Strong command on Caeser II, PDS, PDMS, SP3D & SPR, and Stress Analysis,
· Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English.
· Outstanding record of academic achievement.
· Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
· Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
