Team Lead - Software Development

White Wings employs engineers with Master's degree in computer science and at least five years of intensive work experience. White Wings customers are located World Wide, in North America, Central & South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

We are looking for experienced full-time Team Lead- Software Development for our Islamabad, Pakistan Office.

The candidate should have an excellent communication skills and prior experience of client handling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Excellent communication and leadership skills
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.
Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
Package and support deployment of releases.
Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current Microsoft technologies.
Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. Provide third-level support to business users.
Research and evaluate a variety of software products.

Experience:

Should have development experience of 5 years.
Should have 3 years prior experience in a team lead position in Software Industry.

Education:

Masters/Bachelors in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar level education in relevant area.
