IT / Network Administrator

Network administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining computers, computer networks, Operating Systems and Software Programs running on them and solving any problems that may occur with them.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with staff who are not technically trained;

Responsibilities

Establishing the networking environment by directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards;
maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages;
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organisations;
Upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases;
Routers, Firewall and security management;
Providing in person and remote support to the resources when required.
Liaising with project management team, on a regular basis;
Speaking with customers via email and phone when required.
Unix/Linux experience including most commonly used web servers and Application servers.
MS Server experience with IIS and AD
Systems Management
Backup/Restore Management
