JOB DESCRIPTION:

1.      Review commissionable margin adjustments for validity, propose adjustments based on a review

2.      Perform audit of sales transactions to ensure the validity of commission calculation

3.      Compile assigned reporting related to Travel and Expense, Commissions, PK spifs (and other month end reports as assigned)

4.      Prepare journal entries for review/posting

5.      Identify anomalies and recommend corrections

6.      Assist and comply with external auditing and reporting requirements

7.      Provide a resource for ad hoc reporting and analysis

8.      Backup for daily sales margin analysis and staff accountant - PK

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:   

 Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting & Finance

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

·        2+ years’ (experience in an accounting role with a US company is preferable).

·        Experience with analyzing margins

·        Experience with sales commissions plans including calculations.

·        Excellent critical thinking skills (detailed analysis of accounting issues, accounting reconciliations)

·        General ledger accounting experience that includes complex account reconciliations, journal entries and financial statement analysis.

·        Experience with a compilation of management reporting involving disparate data sources

·        GAAP knowledge and accounting research skills required

·        Experience working within a large ERP system and advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access etc.). 

·        Ability to meet strict deadlines.

·        Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

·        Must be a self-starter with an ability to work individually and with others to achieve department goals. Excellent interpersonal skills and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
