Main duties and responsibilities:

To take primary responsibility for: 

  • the processing of monthly payroll from start to finish including processing information for new starters and leavers, ready for manager’s review.
  • responding to all payroll related queries and manage all employee benefits from a payroll perspective.
  • Providing remote administrative support in all areas of HR as well as to other areas of the business as required.
  • Performing office tasks including scanning, copying, taking notes, ordering supplies and setting up appointments.
  • Researching information where required.
  • Organising diaries when requested.

To take joint responsibility for:

  • Supporting managers with managing probations and performance management of the current staff members.
  • Ensure effective administrative monitoring of sickness trends and remedial action in accordance with AA Labels policy and to facilitate absence management to ensure a smooth return to work.
  • Administering the recruitment process from start to finish. Carrying out telephone interviews and completing initial screening of candidates.
  • Preparing and/or amending HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides.
  • Ensure all data on manual and computerised records is accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely information as and when required.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support all AA Labels’ Training and Development interventions and maintaining records thereof.
  • To manage all the administrative aspect of the HR function.
  • Managing all aspects of employee and HR management information on People HR software and on the HR drive.
  • To manage staff holidays and all other absences on People HR portal.
  • Other general administrative duties may include tasks such as responding to reference requests in line with Company Policy, responding to letters/emails etc.
  • Be flexible to take on other reasonable tasks as and when required to support the business.
  • Administer staff birthdays.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by the business.
