ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Computing and record totals of transactions
• Counting money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Receiving payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
• Calculating total payments received during a time period, and reconcile daily cash
• Calculating total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales
• Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
• Reconcile accounts, resolving discrepancies and collaborating across various Finance and non-Finance functions effectively
• Analyze and post journals, produce data analysis and reports and assist with variance analysis
