AAA Associates is looking to hire an experienced Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor, having capability to optimize projects costs and implement value engineering.
The resource should be able to ensure, achieve and deliver highest standards and quality for all existing and future projects.
Duties:
- Prepare estimates and cost plans for variety of developments
- Provide support to project management team in cost management of projects throughout various stages
- Prepare standard documentation – monthly cost reports, monthly valuations, letters, financial reports.
- Responsible for cash flow forecasting and providing valuation services for variations
- Advise project team on cost risk mitigation strategies for cost compliance
- Improve functionality and quality of projects by incorporating value engineering methodology
- Maintain communication effectively to ensure all information is available for successful closure of projects
- Liaison with other stakeholders to ensure efficient financial control
Experience/Skills:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar equivalent is highly preferred
- Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) will be preferred
- 5-10 years of work experience in construction/property development industry
- Prior experience in High Rise Development
- Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Proficient in using measurement tools including CAD/ BIM measure
- Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
- Capacity to multitask and should be a team player
