We are looking for PHP Developers responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. The ideal candidate must be highly competent and knowledgeable software engineer with extensive experience in designing and building robust, scalable, public facing API's. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
- Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.
- Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
- Troubleshooting application and code issues.
- Integrating data storage solutions.
- Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
- Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.
- Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
- Knowledge of PHP web frameworks Laravel and CodeIgniter.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
- Previous experience creating scalable applications.
- Proficient with code versioning tools.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Ability to project manage.
- Good problem-solving skills.
