The purpose of this position is to provide technical support to health sciences programs in Pakistan. This position requires close coordination and collaboration with project staff and in-country partners to address biorisk management gaps in laboratories across Pakistan. This project will strengthen biosecurity and biosafety best practices and physical biorisk management capabilities in existing laboratories in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan.

  • Assist in reach-out and coordination with veterinary and health departments,Universities, laboratories and institutes.
  •  Organize and conduct lab profiling, assessment, and training as per best recommended BRM protocols.
  • Draft training modules, curricula, pre-and post-training evaluation and share with the training Manager and team leader.
  • Coordinate with operations department for logistical arrangements for the assessment and training events.
  • Conduct training sessions in Balochistan.    
  • Develop meeting minutes, event records, and audio-visuals evidence of the post and pre-assessments meetings, assessments, and training.
  • Draft the training event report at the end of each training and share with the Training Manager and  Training lead.
  • Assist in developing IEC (Information, Education & Communication) materials
  • Participate in program related meetings, training, workshops, and other activities both in Pakistan and internationally.
  • Use advocacy and diplomatic skills to advance project objectives and identify needs to further define and adjust work plans under the guidance of Country head of Office or training Manager.
  • Support Organization in conducting periodic evaluations of program activities.
  • Report progress to Training Manager and Country Head of Office; submit weekly updates, assist with monthly reports and respond to ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Perform any project relevant task.
