- A back-end web developer is responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the work front-end developers do.
- Back-end developers are usually writing the web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers.
- Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
- Back-end developer skills include Development Languages, databases, and cache, Server, API, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementation all server-side network and data storage components
- Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable and efficient code.
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, storage solutions.
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes
- Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
- Ensuring quality and performance of application to specifications.
- Identifying and Fixing potential problems, application bugs and resolving application bottlenecks.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience as a backend developer.
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of iOS & Android back-end services.
- Designing and Implementing REST API to connect applications to back-end services.
- Experience writing and utilizing autonomous services oriented RESTful API services
- Development Knowledge of JSON, REST, and XML-based web services and their working.
- SDK integration for different integrations needs.
- Experience with latest Java SDK feature and improvements (Java 8 and beyond)
- Know your way around common web technologies like HTML5, CSS3(LESS/SASS)
- Knowledge and experience in NodeJs frameworks and its libraries.
- Experience with Clean Architecture Patterns like MVC, MVVM, Viper Team player
- Hands-on Frontend technology like Angular would be plus
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience of object-oriented programming like Python, PHP, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript.
- A deep understanding of the iOs & Android SDK.
- Experience of working with databases like Firebase etc.
- Experience of Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite
- Demonstrated expertise in PHP frameworks including Laravel, Codeignator, Cakephp,
- Development of Shopify and Shopify Plus platform, themes, liquid programming language, and corresponding apps is a big plus.
