Accountant (CA/ACCA – Articles Completed)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant who has completed their Articles to join our team remotely from anywhere in Pakistan. This full-time role requires working U.S. Eastern (NYC) hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and audit principles, excellent analytical abilities, and the capability to prepare accurate financial statements within set deadlines. This position supports our financial operations and offers the flexibility of a home-based work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
- Maintain accurate records of journal entries, invoices, expenses, and adjustments.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
- Reconcile financial data, including bank transactions, receivables, payables, and other accounts.
- Organize and maintain accounting documentation systematically.
- Conduct internal audit checks, identify variances, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of management reports.
- Prepare schedules and documentation required for annual audits.
- Collaborate with management to streamline and improve accounting processes.

Required Qualifications
- Based in Pakistan with the ability to work remotely using a stable internet connection.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Candidates with ACCA, ICMA, or equivalent qualifications are also eligible, provided Articles have been completed.
- Proven hands-on experience with closing and audit processes, including month-end close, audit support, and documentation.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and documentation skills essential for effective remote collaboration.

- Exposure to international clients is beneficial but not required.
