We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to oversee and accurately track inventory across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and analytical, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that operates across global time zones. This role demands precision in inventory reconciliation and reporting to support effective inventory management and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly inventory records across warehouses, vendors, and sales channels to ensure data consistency.
- Monitor stock movements, adjustments, and discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory data.
- Verify purchase orders, goods received notes, and sales dispatch reports for alignment and correctness.
- Maintain and update detailed inventory records using Microsoft Excel with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Prepare periodic inventory reconciliation reports for management to facilitate review and action.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve inventory issues promptly.
- Assist in conducting physical stock audits and ensure thorough documentation of audit outcomes.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance inventory visibility, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in inventory management, reconciliation, or data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data validation, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
- High level of integrity and accountability when handling sensitive inventory information.
- Ability to work effectively during US/global time zones, specifically the 6 PM to 3 AM shift.
This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary range of Rs 55,000 to Rs 65,000. The role requires dedication to maintaining precise inventory records and actively contributing to continuous process improvements within a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
