Master in Nutrition, Public health, Social Sciences or any other similar filed degree,

Experience of working in CMAM program in different location of Sindh.

Position Objective

The Divisional Officer will be to provide support in the organization of district-level meetings of partners and with external stakeholders, support in coordination with district-level matters and representation at district level meetings (DCCN, DLG, Ad hoc meetings). Divisional Officer will also be involved in conducting field level monitoring and reporting, to assist partners in smooth implementation of PINS-2 activities (Treatment and outreach) in assigned districts as per standard guidelines and also to provide technical support to PINS-2 partners in their respective update. 

Mission 1: To provide support to Senior Divisional Manager Hyderabad in managing tasks:

  • The DO is responsible for:
  • To document and share the details of working groups under the guidance of relevant government bodies.
  • To ensure that ER2 is explained and projected properly at all relevant forums.
  • To support Senior Project Manager in convening meetings, visits and update plans.
  • To provide an over view of ground situation through conducting field visits.
  • To support Senior Project Manager in conducting reviews of progress as per DIP and document any shortcomings/challenges. 
  • Support Senior Project Manager in overseeing security implementation and reporting at the district level;
  • To support in facilitation, the visits of district, provincial, capital or HQ related staff. Allocate 60% of time to field visits;
  • Ensure support for surveys or any emergency assessment on ad hoc basis.
  • Ensure/facilitate trainings and workshops.  

Mission 2: Develop strong coordination with major stakeholders in assigned district and ensure District liaison Group meeting:

The DO is responsible for:

  • Establish productive working relationship with District administration and health department and project partners.
  • Brief project activities to all District level stakeholders (DCs, DHO, DCNP, DNFP etc.)
  • Regularly participation in DCCN meeting at district level and represent organization
  • Preparation of meeting minutes and sharing with relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate with partners (OTP, Outreach and NSC) for District Liaison Group (DLG) meeting.
  • Review the monthly progress of the partners at district level.
  • To prepare briefings on progress with consultation of government bodies related to AAP at district and divisional level.

Mission 3: Provision of technical support to the partners at OTP sites, Outreach activities and NSC in assigned districts:

The DO is responsible for:

  • Supervise project activities at OTP sites, outreach and NSC as per standard protocols.
  • Monitor supplies, IM tools & availability of equipment to the partners at district level.
  • Reconciliation of stock request and release at district level.
  • Conduct debriefing meetings with partners on regular basis.
  • To visit partners warehouse on monthly basis.
  • To provide supportive supervision in terms of challenges/issues.
  • Develop picture gallery of project activities and share to communication department.

Mission 4 : Ensure compliance with ACFs gender equality, child protection sensitivity and Safeguarding policies

  • The DO is responsible for:
  • Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender, Child Protection and other safeguarding policies  
  • Implement all work related activities with a gender, inclusion and child protection lens
  • Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability

  • Fluent in English, reading writing and speaking and/or local language of the program implementation area
