Overview
This position is within the Action Against Hunger Grants and Communications department. This multi-functional department leads donor reporting, proposal development, and internal coordination across the country programme. This department also supports communications, visibility, advocacy and strategy as required. The position will report directly to the Deputy Grants and Communications Coordinator who in turn reports to the Country Director.
Objective 1
To support fundraising identification and organization, and support in development of proposals and reports in line with the Action Against Hunger Pakistan and international strategies as well as donor requirements
Tasks & responsibilities
· Develop knowledge of ACF internal policies and proposal guidelines for donor organizations funding Pakistan programs/projects;
· Carry-out periodic donors mapping
· Update the grants tracker and disseminate information timely
· Coordinate with staff from other ACF Pakistan departments (technical sectors, finance, and field staff) to compile relevant information and documents to support proposal development;
· Facilitate maintenance of a proposal and reporting tracker, and ensure regular and timely sharing of formats and requirements with the relevant departments;
· Development of formats for, prepare, review, compile, provide feedback on, and finalize draft donor reports, editing for format, grammar, and content;
· Support teams to write and incorporate feedback on donor reports;
· Organize training session with project team on report writing, proposal development and reporting
· Provide timely and quality feedback on reports in track changes along with comments to field team
· Travel to the field sites as needed to support program reporting/grants management.
Objective 2
To support internal coordination within the Action Against Hunger Pakistan mission
Tasks & responsibilities
· Coordinate grants by updating the grants and opportunities tracker and disseminating information.
· Facilitate in regular update of reporting calendar and maintaining follow-up with team for timely finalization of reports.
· Support grant opening, review, and closing meetings, including attendance at meetings;
· Arrange and minute regular internal coordination meetings such as WCM, QCM, KOM etc.
Objective 3
To assist communications and visibility activities of Action Against Hunger Pakistan
Tasks & responsibilities
· Develop Communications and Visibility Plan for each project.
· Assist in operationalizing the C&V plan for donor funded projects.
· Develop communications and visibility documents, presentations, photographs and other materials in line with ACF Pakistan’s strategy as requested;
· Coordinate and facilitate in drafting monthly Newsletter;
· Assist field level visibility including recording of this visibility.
Objective 4
To facilitate in Regular and comprehensive filing of grant documentation.
Tasks & responsibilities
· Maintain and regularly update the repository of grants including proposals, contracts and reports.
· Facilitate the concerned departments and external evaluators / auditors by providing them the required documents

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s Degree minimum 4 years of overall experience and 2 years in relevant field in development sector
OR
· Bachelor’s degree with minimum 06 years overall experience with 4 years in relevant field in development sector
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
· A minimum 4 years’ overall experience with 2-year relevant experience;
· Interest in the humanitarian and development sector;
· Very strong written and spoken English abilities;
· Strong computer skills particularly word and excel;
· Good analytical skills;
· Commitment to working additional hours as required.
PREFERRED
· Experience in the NGO/INGO sector;
· A minimum Bachelor’s degree;
· Previous experience preparing proposals, reports and other documentation required for projects;
