OVERVIEW OF POSITION
This position is part of the field based team of the Echo-funded Programme- Provision of lifesaving undernutrition treatment and prevention support to vulnerable communities affected by critical nutrition emergency in District Battagram, KP.
The position will be involved in day-to-day program activity data punching, cleaning and uploading in to the central database system and analysis.
And also to provide IT support in accordance with ACTION AGAINST HUNGER policies and procedures.
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1
To ensure efficient data management of project activities.
Tasks & responsibilities
· Day to day data punching of program activity data.
· Support in development/improvement of program data collection tools
· To ensure proper archiving of program data in both soft and hard data.
· To provide support in generation of monthly project progress reports as per requirement of ACF and Donor.
· To file data received both in hard and soft forms
Objective 2
To provide support in MEAL activities
Tasks & responsibilities
· To implement project monitoring system in collaboration with MEAL team which includes trend analysis for program progress, effectiveness against stated indicators.
· Strong Support in all ACF Nutrition Assessments e.g. SQUEAC, SMART, IYCF KAP Baseline, Endline, NCA in planning, formulation and execution stage.
· To provide support in MEAL survey data punching.
· visits to field for monitoring in terms of stream lining data reporting quality and data reporting channel among field and office staff if needed.
Objective 3
To Provide IT Support
· Resolving everyday user problems;
· Providing users with software support for sharing files, emails etc;
· Suggesting IT resources that could be implemented to improve user work efficiency in accordance with ACF standards;
· Reporting problems encountered and solutions implemented
· Maintaining computers, printers/scanners and conducting daily/monthly checks to ensure that maintenance tasks have been executed;
· Responding to daily requests to modify email addresses; NHF Access & LINK User group.
Objective 4 (Gender)
To ensure inclusion across programming and within/by the team
Tasks & responsibilities
· Support mission level qualification for gender marker;
· Encourage inclusion within recruitment, training and promotion;
· Ensure inclusion within programme planning, implementation and reporting;
· Identify and mentor gender focal points in coordination with HR.

REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal National
To support in compilation of monthly reports for PINS and other provincial initiatives/projects;
To ensure timely data collection and compilation for central data base management.
To support in compilation of project life cycle documentation reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory
· Bachelors in statistics, Economics, Computer science or any other related to field.
· At least six month IT / MIS related diploma[A1] .
· Atleast 3 year working experience in data management.
· Experience working in nutrition specific
· Experience working within complex matrix based organizational structures;
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Good resource and time management skills
· Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access
· Experience working in KP
Preference
· Urdu, English language skills;
· Experience within a large national or international organization;
· Experience working in development projects
· Experience working closely with Government of Sindh.
