Purpose of the role:

To provide technical support for inventory and logistics management of supplies. To implement and monitor Warehouse systems, in accordance with ACTION AGAINST HUNGER policies and procedures. To perform any other duties as requested by the Logistics officer & Sr. Program Manager

   Job Profile:

Bachelor's Degree [or B Pharmacy] in relevant field and/or relevant technical qualification

Minimum 02 years of overall experience and 01 year in relevant field in development sector

Candidates with relevant experience and qualification in pharmacy will be preferred.

Individual accountabilities:

1.        Responsible for all stock management, stock reconciliation, casual labour or daily wager supervision and management system in the Warehouse.

2.        Bin Cards, stock cards should be immediately updated as per delivery “IN” “OUT”.

3.        Responsible for receipt and despatch of all stock requests.

4.        Make a weekly report of good’s movement in/out of the warehouse and sharing with Logistics Officer. 

5.        Maintain inventory of medical / nutritional supplies or equipment. Re-order Project supplies or Equipment. Ensure proper identification of all arrival/departure material (quantity, quality, and delivery).

6.        To monitor the dispensing of controlled drugs at all levels.

7.        Update Stock Report & Stock Follow Up on a daily basis.  Disseminate to project staff on base on a weekly basis.  Present to Logistics officer for Monthly Log report on 1st of each month.

8.        Make sure that the medicines are kept in the standard temperature as per requirement. 

9.        Monitor and re-order nutritional supplies, medical supplies, or drugs, maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly as per good storage practices prescribed by WHO.

10.     Assist in program stock, inventory audit when needed.

11.     Be accountable at all items in the warehouse that are under his/her responsibility, including warehouse equipment’s and inventory

12.     Coordinate and cooperate with ACTION AGAINST HUNGER Project Manager and Log Officer for spot stock check & reconciliation.

13.     Check the packing or the boxes. If any problem (damaged parcels) check carefully the content item per item and report to the Logistics Coordinator at Capital Office.

14.     One area has always to be clearly identified for each destination.

15.     Proper installation of the goods on the shelves or wood pallets when needed, nice, clean and easy to handle and find.

16.     Proper waybill and packing list to be sent with each consignment, one full copy to be forwarded to the office the same day.

17.     Inventory list should be updated as per location. 

18.     All the stock release order upon receiving should be reviewed as per Purchase Request. Make sure that all lines are there in the SRO for tracking purpose. 

      19.     Plan, implement, or maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, or                                          labelling   pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements,                                  to ensure  quality, security, and proper disposal

1.         Make a monthly physical inventory of the stock with supervision of logistics manager and sharing with Logistics Officer for further reporting purpose.

2.        Fill in the different forms about movements of the items e.g. stock cards etc. Respect ACTION AGAINST HUNGER Kit Log stock management procedures (Receiving, Issuing and recording) as per procedure of the organization.

3.        In close coordination with Logistics Officer, keep update about the IN- OUT flow of all supplies of the program.

4.        To support liaison of Logistics Coordinator and team with Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan for NoC and custom clearance protocols if required. Especially FiD visit for verification purpose.

5.        Assess the identity, strength, or purity of medications and provide support to logistics & Program team at the time of procurement for alternate solutions.

6.        Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage

7.        Follow-up with special attention expiry date of medicines & food, and warn the concerned department Four months before expiry date.

8.        Collaborate with other OTP / NSC professionals to plan, monitor, review, or evaluate the quality or effectiveness of drugs or drug regimens, providing advice on drug applications or characteristics.

9.        Update or troubleshoot central pharmacy information databases at MIS dashboard designed by IM team.

10.     Coordinate with truck rental company for transportation of supplies.

11.     Reconciliation should be done with Nutrition FP, with support of the Logistics officer, and to be kept in hard in file.

12.     The stock Report should be shared bi weekly with Sr. Program manager, Logistics officer and team in Battagram.
