Purpose of the role:
The Logistics Manager will support Senior Logistics Coordinator for overall logistics Management of mission, interim of planning, technical support to the team and implementation of project framework under logistics domain and lesion with partners related to logistics matter in case of need.
Logistics Manager will manage all the procurement, warehousing, Equipment’s Fleet with support of the log, program and operations team.
Job Profile
Master's Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering or other related field with minimum 05 years of overall experience and 03 years in the relevant field in development sector
OR
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering or other related field with minimum 07 years overall experience and 05 years in relevant field in development Sector
Working experience with NGO/ INGO on Similar position
Experience in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management
Familiarity with humanitarian principles and methodologies.
Good command on international language (English).
Individual accountabilities
1. In close collaboration with the Senior Logistics Coordinator, ensure the organization, implementation, of Kit-Log in the development of additional procedures if required; ensuring adherence to applicable donor procedures.
2. Ensure that all procurement carried out by following Kit Log / Donors / PPP validated procedure.
3. Procurement dashboard at LINK properly filled and utilized for monitoring of all procurements
4. Ensure that all procurement done by following good business practices (ethics) and the value for money principles
5. Ensure the timely delivery of material purchased (monitor the lead time for each delivery)
6. Conduct market surveys to enhance the market knowledge & ensure updating of supplier data base
7. Validate the purchases where required (as per authorized signature form)
8. Ensure the frame work agreement for all regular supplies
9. Devise / Suggest the procedures for smooth on time procurement
10. Working closely with the mission technical teams and Senior Logistics Coordinator for drafting Project procurement plan (PPP) / Supply Plan (SP) of new proposals.
11. Ensure that Supply Plans updated on regular basis
12. Provide support to field teams on procurement issues
13. Supervise Logistics Associate in preparation and submission of Purchase Dossiers.
14. Preparation and submission of Logistics monthly report (as per Kit Log) and submission to Senior Logistics Coordinator.
15. Provide overview in all the technical procedures related to Customs and clearance of imported and locally bought materials.
16. Timely and responsive identification, rent, and necessary rehabilitation of ACF premises/facilities as well as their closure depending on program needs.
17. Ensure the management of Capital stocks / warehouses as per procedures outlined in Kit-log
18. Ensure that all documentation related to readiness stock (Islamabad & Hyderabad) management available (Stock Report, Stock Cards etc).
19. Ensure the tracking of material in case of readiness stock mobilization (Islamabad, Batagram and Hyderabad).
20. Ensure the availability of updated stock reports / SFU
21. Provide support to field teams on stock issues
22. Monitor the stock level for critical supplies, ensure the alert sent to program teams for low stocks
