Purpose of the role
This position will be in charge of IM, research (including surveys and surveillance) and MEAL across the mission. They will provide technical input at the field level and will design new programmes/ contribute into designs.
This person must have a background in research methodologies and implementation. They should also be able to perform MEAL duties. They should have an understanding of the role of IM.
Individual accountabilities
1. Develop MEAL, IM and research strategy in line with programme strategy
2. Provide technical leadership and backstopping to all IM, MEAL and research field teams
3. Directly line manage any research, IM or MEAL specific programmes
4. Ensure that the necessary systems and capacities are developed and implemented to enable IM, MEAL and research to be completed
5. Line manage IM, research and MEAL specialists at the capital level
6. Represent ACF Pakistan mission to external counterparts including the establishment of strategic partnerships
7. Represent ACF Pakistan mission to HQ in terms of MEAL, IM and research including submission of relevant reports, plans or other deliverables
