Action Against Hunger is a leading organization globally focused on eradication of hunger and malnutrition. Action Against Hunger is seeking a Project Manager for Balochistan Emergency response project for the Winterization Emergency.
OBJECTIVESObjective 1To support and implement the Rapid onset project of Winterization emergency in Balochistan at field level.Tasks & responsibilities· The Senior Project Manager (Emergency Response) shall be responsible for Project Management, providing technical backstopping to the IPs (Implementing Partners) and oversee the Grants Management with consortium partners. The incumbent will also be closely coordinating with PDMA, district line authorities and will secure NOC for the project. Further, the Project Manager is also expected for IM /data management, and reporting for the project.· The SPM will be responsible for getting NOCs from provincial and district government, and building close relationships for a coordinated response · He/she will act as focal point for the Balochistan Snow emergency· Close coordination with all the provincial stakeholder will be managed by SPM · The SPM will manage the implementation of the project in Baluchistan response in assigned Field Sites and is responsible for timely and high-quality program implementation and support. · The SPM shall be ensuring adherence to agreed work plans and reporting schedules as well as full compliance to ACF policies in the areas of Finance, HR, Logistics and Information Management. · The SPM works in close coordination with Program, Finance, HR and Logistics senior staff, as well as technical staff to ensure that programmatic and operational strategies are implemented at the field site.· In addition, it is expected that the Emergency SPM will ensure that all grants are implemented in a manner that ensures the highest accountability standards for internal (partners, beneficiaries and ACF) and external(donors).Objective 2To develop technical reports, progress reports on the emergency project activities implemented.Tasks & responsibilities· To support Information Management team in providing technical back stopping to implementing partners in generation of data sets and its analysis with regards to Emergency response. · To follow-up with Implementing Partners on project implementation.· Strong Support in all emergency programming assessments e.g. Beneficiary selection, Baseline, Endline, and KAP assessments and relevant survey. · Up to 80% visits to field for ensuring quality program implementation.
